Introduction to the Finite Element Method - Problems is a collection of problems intended for a master level coursebased on the book "Introduction to the Finite Element Method" by Ottosen & Petersson, Prentice Hall (1992). The problems are designed to give a thorough understanding of the theoretical aspects of FEM, as well as skill in solving engineering problems. The book is intended to be used along with the educational finite element software CALFEM.The material mentioned above (text book, collection of problems and software) is the result of extensive experience in teaching the Finite Element Method at the Division of Structural Mechanics, Faculty of Engineering, Lund University. This is the second edition of the book, where among other changes the figures have been improved.
