Cherry blossom, a surplus cascade

of little pink petals that totally invade

our world in April, a silent sign

of nature`s seductive efforts of divine

and thrusting energy, we promptly surrender

when walking the parks, a love that is tender,

predictive, yearly and endorphin inducing

how could you resist the ever amusing

show that really is just a strive

by trees to survive, to stay alive

what if they knew the extra effect

they offer us humans, an almost perfect

co-existence, then they would be proud

maybe even cheer us out loud

for appreciating their efforts so much

a total experience of smell and touch
